Project Overview

Our goals were to meet our patient’s needs with a personalized treatment plan, including restoring her dentition without ideal pre-prosthetic surgery. We attempted to create final prostheses that provided the patient with esthetics and the ability to function.

Outcome

Successfully fabricated a retentive maxillary tooth-supported overdenture even though ideal pre-prosthetic surgery for upper right undercut was not an option. Collapsed vertical dimension was restored with final prostheses. Esthetics were modified to mimic photograph of patient’s former smile that she loved.
