Introduction

This case report aims to provide insight into the significance of comprehensive treatment planning when performing a full mouth rehabilitation. When a patient presents with multiple carious lesions, edentulous areas, worn dentition and discolored teeth, developing a treatment plan to achieve a stable and functional occlusion in conjunction with a patient’s esthetic concerns is essential. A systematic approach to diagnosis, treatment planning and risk management is crucial for a predictable outcome. The treatment planning process involved in this case presentation involves identification of etiologies and diagnoses, the use of digital technologies to create a diagnostic wax up, restoration of vertical dimension of occlusion and an acceptable occlusal scheme, and implant planning to ensure restoratively driven implant placement.
